Selected Projects

• Upgrade approximately 2500 computers remotely via LAN, WAN, dial-up and CD for a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Dayton, OH.
• Create software to show coverage of all AM and FM radio stations in the US. The database created with this software was integrated with MapInfo software to create a map showing which radio stations could be heard during a trip.
• Design and maintain internet and intranet websites for various companies, organizations and individuals.
  One of the more interesting intranet site applications uses a script to determine if network hardware is alive by sending a "ping" command to each piece of interest. This information is then posted to an intranet web server and the IP address of equipment that doesn't respond is sent, via pager, to technicians who then investigate the failure.
• Design and implement web-based front ends for databases.
• Design and implement web-based front ends for test equipment.
  One of these allowed access to a piece of test equipment located in Cincinnati, OH from anywhere in the country via an intranet.
  
• Implement and maintain peer-to-peer networks including:
  File servers
  Paging servers
  Proxy servers
  Email servers
  
• Design, configure, implement and maintain NT Server networks including:
  Microsoft Exchange Server
  Personal Webserver
  Internet Information Server
